What Do We Offer?
Business books. Memoirs. Self-help books. We specialize in full-book nonfiction ghostwriting. Whatever best suits your goals, we collaborate with you to get your story right.
How Does the Process Work?
Interviewing
Estimated time commitment: 1 to 3 months
This is the heart of the ghostwriting process, and it serves two purposes. One, get your ghostwriter the information they need to craft the book. Two, let your ghostwriter learn about you. How you speak. How you think. How you’d present an argument.
Ghostwriting isn’t just about getting a story down on paper. It’s about getting your story down…they way you want to share it.
For your ghostwriter, this stage can include:
Interviews with you (remote or in person)
Independent research
Review of existing material (journals, notes, first drafts)
Writing
Estimated time commitment: 2 to 4 months
This is the part where you get to put your feet up and let your ghostwriter do the heavy lifting!
Your main role during this phase is:
Signing off on the outline
Reviewing chapters for high-level alignment
Asking questions you have for your ghostwriter
Answering questions or providing more clarity for your ghostwriter
Preparing your book marketing plan
(Nitty-gritty editing is the next phase. This is just making sure you and your ghostwriter are on the same page with tone, style, and direction.)
Editing
Estimated time commitment: 2 to 3 months
Once your manuscript draft is complete, the editing phase will begin.
You and your ghostwriter will go through two rounds of edits together. The first is for any and all high-level changes. The second is for final tweaks and cleanup.
Your ghostwriter will also do a third and final proofreading edit.
At the end of this phase, you will have:
A finished, saleable book manuscript
Guidance on your marketing plan
Guidance on your publishing path
